Ingredients
Enoxaparin Sodium 60mg Injection PFS (pre-filled syringe) is a low molecular weight heparin anticoagulant (6000 IU anti-Xa/0.6 mL) for subcutaneous self-administration. It enhances antithrombin III activity to inhibit factor Xa and thrombin (IIa), preventing and treating venous thromboembolism (VTE), acute coronary syndromes (unstable angina/NSTEMI), acute STEMI with PCI, and DVT/PE in patients 75 kg. Treatment dose: 1 mg/kg ( 60 mg for 60 kg patient) SC q12h; prophylaxis: 40 mg SC qDay; STEMI: 30 mg IV bolus + 1 mg/kg SC followed by q12h; administer in abdomen (avoid IM); monitor anti-Xa if renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min: 1 mg/kg once daily).
