Acotiamide 100 mg Tablet is a selective acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that enhances acetylcholine and motilin release, improving gastric emptying and gastrointestinal motility for functional dyspepsia treatment. It relieves postprandial fullness, bloating, early satiety, upper abdominal pain/discomfort, and nausea by accelerating gastric accommodation and transit in PDS/FD subtypes. Adults: 100 mg TID (30 min before meals) for 4 weeks; well-tolerated with mild side effects (headache 2-5%, diarrhea, nausea, constipation, rash); avoid in severe hepatic impairment.
